Last

Today is the last day for year 2010. I don't really have the mood to welcome for a new year as there's too many things that I have to cope with. I am afraid that I couldn't deal with them. Friendship, family, future...I am so stressed out! People outside are countdown-ing for the new year, but I am sitting here counting how much time there's still left for holiday. Time is the key to soothe things down, perhaps. Wish me luck! And wish you guys a happy new year! :)

Christmas

I found out that everyone posted how they celebrate Christmas on their blog post. Just then I realized that I seldom celebrate any festival. Due to the non-religious belief in my family, we seldom celebrate any festival, seriously. So...do you think it's weird if we don't celebrate Christmas?

Still Paramore?

First of all, I am not a big fans of Paramore. But I was really shocked and saddened by the news that the Farro brothers have left the band. I don't know if Paramore is still the Paramore without the Farro brothers. Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor released a message on Paramore.net stating the Farro brothers' exit. But then, the Farro brothers revealed the "truth" of their departure on their blog. Anyhow, wish them all the best.

I Missed Kota Kinabalu

Okay, so I am now sitting in the hotel room at Sandakan blogging. To be honest, I hate road trip very much especially you have to sit in the car for 5 hours or maybe more than that. That's so sick! I think that's what we call as motion sickness.

This is a 5 days trip, so...yup, I won't be at K.K. for these few days. Today is just the first day at here but I already missed K.K. badly!!!

I am so lazy now, so adios mis amigos!

Yesterday

Yesterday I went on shopping spree with my family. I was standing there in front of a tattoo billboard with my mom while waiting for my father and brother. At that moment, I did thought a lot and discovered that it was really hard for me to tell my mom that I really like tattoo and want to be a tattoo artist. My mom is not another woman. She is a typical woman just like any one's mom. A woman who loves her kid and wanted to protect them until they are all grown up.

I had been thinking of get inked on a private part so that my parents wouldn't know about it. Getting a tattoo means that the ink has to be with you for the whole life (unless you get a tattoo removal). Moreover, I have to keep this as a secret away from my family. Carry a secret which can't be share with your family plus you always have to be careful about it. Who wants live like that shit?

Hmm...maybe I should convince my parents.

Tattoo

This afternoon, I read a press which included an interview with a local tattoo artist. He is Pip Lubasi and owned a tattoo shop at Jesselton Point. While reading his interview, I was so shocked that his story was somewhat same as mine. While he was studying for his Diploma in Culinary Arts, he became an apprentice at a place called Taboo Tattoo Studio. After that, he never became a chef but a tattoo artist since his interest in the art of tattoo was too strong. After reading his interview, my determination to become a tattoo artist grows up to 65%.
Tattoo is actually not a bad thing. Tattoo is something that can shows your personality. Even my dad also had one on his arm and one on his forearm. My dad said that he wanted to get some ink on his another arm someday! Not sure if that was true. For me tattoo is like ink piercing into your skin. Tattoo is art; art is tattoo. The only difference in these were our body replaced canvas and tattoo machine replaced the brush.

Dad claims that it was a mermaid, and I was like...Hi "little mermaid"!

My dad told me this was something like the paddle wheels of a boat. I personally think that was more like a ribbon instead.

(p.s. My dad received his tattoos at a very young age so it might be different from the other tattoos you've seen.)

Pretty Good Day

Woke up early in the morning, and did my daily routine. After that I had my breakfast with my mommy outside. After we had finished and paid for our breakfast, we got into the car and went to a transport company. After that, yes I still have many after that. So, after that we went to my school to buy some second hand books for next year's courses. I was really lucky enough to bought all of them with half-price, maybe not. And the best thing was I didn't queue up so long to buy them!

I bathed myself again after I reached home as I was sweating the all day long and it stinks. So this afternoon I did some really cool stuff and I am going to show you now! The first thing I did was a ummm...let's see.

(Clockwise from top left.) First you have to boil some water. While waiting the water boiled, crack an egg into a small bowl, only egg white! The next thing you are going to do is take a teaspoon of honey, any kind of honey. As you see, my honey was like...a little frozen :/ Okay, next, mix the honey and egg white together, stir well and it will come out something like orange-ish. After that, pour some hot water in a face towel and apply it to your face which have blackheads, apparently not with that temperature, you have to leave it and wait it to become a little cooler first. The purpose of the hot towel is to open your pores. Next, apply the mixture that you've made just now to your face which have blackheads. Wait for 10 minutes, tick-tock-tick-tock. Rinse it off with warm water. It's actually a remedy to get rid of blackheads. I am not sure if this will works on you. If you have a sensitive skin, don't use this. Try it at home, it's really simple and fun! Credits to All Natural 28

After the blackheads thingy, I tidied my working desk, which was really really messy as if there was a war on my desk. At first, it came up with a small problem. I've got no extra book display stands or something like that. I didn't found any video which was related how to make a book stand so I DIY one for myself. I made it with a hanger and some unused pants to wrap over it. It was a swan inspired book stand and I named it Bella, I have no idea why I named it Bella. Oh...And I found out that toothbrush is a really helpful little kit when you wanted to wash something but you couldn't reach for the small cracks.

(Clockwise from top left.) Bella. Bella and my Senior 3 textbooks. War. After the damn war and more spaces to work!!!!

Last, I wanted to tell you guys that from today onwards all of my art piece will be signed with my watermark like the photo shown below. Well, they're not some classy art work but I just hoped that you guys respect to my own rights to protect my art work.

Broken Dreams

For the past few days, I had some issues with my dreams and future things. I had been struggling from to become a tattoo artist or a chef. I think I have made my decision clearly, perhaps. Well, 70 percent chef and the rest for tattoo artist. Maybe my friends were right. Dreams will never be the same as real life. I was obsessed with the ink thing since the day I watched the reality show by Ami James and his friends named Miami Ink. I was so impressed with their art work which led me to the way of a tattoo artist wanna be. Ren Vokes, a girl from ANTM Cycle 14 was also one of my propulsion of wanting to become a tattoo artist. But now my dreams were all broken when this evening Edwin brought me to visit the local tattoo shop at some mall. I was horrified with the atmosphere at there. Something strange and I could not tell what it was like. The tattoo shop doesn't look like Ami's tattoo shop. Ami's was like very bright and full of artsy which made me wanted to stay there for the whole day to paint or draw at there. While our local one was so black inside, it was like.....I have no idea. I was totally blank when I stopped by the shop. There was a guy walking out from his shop with his cigarette in his hand. Then the first word that came into my mind was "RUN"! I wanna run to a place. A place which have sun and beach. A place which have a tattoo shop. A place where Ami belongs, Miami!

(p.s. I am really so sick of here, I want to fly out of this cage!)

A Gift From The Above

Everyone is unique and special. Before our mom brought us to this world, we were just a piece of blue sky, waiting to attach to the earth. We came from the combination of an ovum and a sperm. Sounds random, but do you know that there will be just only 1 of 2 - 5 billion of sperm penetrates the ovum. And that's what made us special, we are one in a billion!

We were the gift from above. Everyone has their own speciality and talent. A friend of mine said that he is so envy that I had talent in art. And the idea of writing this article immediately popped up in my head. Thanks for the praise. And thanks to God and my parents for giving me such a talent. Although I'm talented in art, I won't go further in any art studies, perhaps. I wanted to be a chef, own a restaurant, a bar, a cafe. That's my dream.

I am happy to have such talent. Don't worry if you still don't know what's your talent, you will found out someday. Just remember that every individual is unique. Never say that you are ordinary or something like that because you are not. There is something inside us waiting to be developed. Wish you guys all the best! :)

(p.s. I am really sick of those who wrote "I'm just an ordinary girl/boy" in their profile. That was fucking annoying!)

The Speech of Art

Well, as you can see, my blog is full of picture instead of words. I can't really write a good article. I take almost 1 to 2 hours to finish an article, sometimes 3! :P I love to draw and paint. Drawing is my only way to express my emotion when words fail.

I had my dinner just now. There's an ungrateful man sitting on the next table. You know what, he was smoking!!! I was like "What the hell?!!!". The apparitions of smoke can visibly be seen as it was coming to us. Couldn't he just stop smoking?? I hate the unpleasant smell of cigarette, a lot! And thanks to him, I can hardly breath.

Stop smoking, you jerk!

Freedom

I do not know why everyone is so busy while I am so free. I don't even give a damn on this SPM Mock! I don't care if I don't get a good grade. I just wanna have fun and good grade doesn't mean everything. While everyone is putting loads of effort on their studies, I am drawing :D Sounds cool right? So this is some of my works.

Fat Ass. Some of my friend thought this was kind of nasty, but I think this was just perfect for me.

This was supposed to be a self-portrait. Apparently, FAILED!

Popular? Unpopular?

I have been thinking this question all day long. What's the feeling of being an unpopular student? Did they ever cried? What if I was one of the unpopular student? Seeing the unpopular one being isolated by those popular one made me feel so sympathize. Imagine that you're the one being isolated and taunted by everyone, what do you feel? Do you feel happy? By the way, I admire those who won't beat down by the frustration no matter what the circumstances are. I think they are really brave and full of confidence in themselves. But for me, I might not be that brave as I has low self-esteem. You might not like the one that you had encountered with, but that's our responsibility to be nice and friendly to them instead of isolation. Sometimes we just need to stand at their point of view. Just listen to their thoughts and care for their feelings. Never despise someone!

(p.s. The above was my thoughts and opinions about the unpopular one and the popular one. Any allusion is purely coincidental.)

Happy Birthday Mom!

We went to the Korean Restaurant to celebrate mom's birthday. I gave her my self-made love- shaped cranberry pancakes. They were supposed to be a good looking fortune cookies though. Daddy bought mom a new mobile phone, Nokia X3. Tonight was a great night. I love you mom, Happy Birthday! ♥

Love in Many Way

This was about 15 minutes ago.
Monday, Oh Monday! Hey, I just downloaded the song! The fabric song by Zooey Deschanel. Aww...Zooey! She's so gorgeous and she has got a nice voice. Lyrics, lyrics. I am going to post the lyrics now.
Woke up today
It was another lovely day to watch the
sun
Rise and fall again
From my, window
The touch, the feel
The Fabric of Our Lives
The touch, the feel, of cotton
Fabric of My Life
Woke up today
it was another lovely day to watch the birds In the sky
again
From my, window
The touch, the feel
The Fabric of Our Lives
The touch, the feel, of cotton
Fabric of My Life
Just saw the night unfold
Another lovely day
And saw the stars in the sky again
From my window
The touch, the feel,The Fabric of Our
Lives
The touch, the feel of cotton,Fabric of My

Fashion Fever

I don't know why I am so addicted to the fashion industry nowadays. Hmm...I think it's because of Kimora Lee Simmons. She's a successful mother, mogul, model, business woman, and an entrepreneur. I don't think she looks pretty or what but she is somehow fascinating. The fashion designer I love the most are Luella Bartley and Nicole Richie. They always design the great things.

Me and Nicole were crazy over drawing dresses during lesson time. Doesn't look good though. I am still working on the legs, hands, and so on. I am so weak at drawing human.

A Day at Sesame Street

Hello, September! Happy Seventeenth Birthday to Vanessa Song and the Kaulitz Twins. OMG! They are actually turning twenty-one! Happy Twenty-first Birthday Tom Kaulitz and Bill Kaulitz. Tokio Hotel is the best!

Today, me, Carmen, Edwin and Novena went to the school library after we had taken our lunch. I was so high when I reached there. We went to the cookbook section to find some book, that section also known as our "Sesame Street". After that, we decided to play the "hide and seek" game and the piggy laugh game. Both of us laughed to the max, we were insane! School was great, I wish I could go to school everyday with a big smile on my face. I love them, my friends. They are really awesome, they made my school life even better.

(p.s. Gedeon, let's go to Sesame Street tomorrow!)

What's On My Desk

1. Fragrance, Body Butter
Victoria's Secret Love Spell perfume, Burberry Perfume and Victoria's Secret Secret Charm Body Butter. That's what a girl needs, fragrances! I love Victoria's Secret Secret Garden line, both of them have a special scent.
2. Novels
The best thing to fill up your leisure time, enhance your vocabulary and knowledge. Hmm...I couldn't found any interest in it recently though.
3. Decorative Spongebob
They came along with the Nestle cereal boxes. One Mr.Krab was given by my dear sister, Novena.
4. Hanamichi Sakuragi Piggy Bank
I bought it about few years ago. Nothing in it, but some dust.
5. DVDs
Michael Jackson, Slam Dunk, SodaGreen, Wallace and Gromit, Twilight. Some of them were my birthday presents from my family and friends.
6. Spanish Book
I bought it few months ago. I like the Spanish accent and cultural. Obviously, not corrida de toros.

(p.s. corrida de toros means bullfighting in Spanish)
