Last

Today is the last day for year 2010. I don't really have the mood to welcome for a new year as there's too many things that I have to cope with. I am afraid that I couldn't deal with them. Friendship, family, future...I am so stressed out! People outside are countdown-ing for the new year, but I am sitting here counting how much time there's still left for holiday. Time is the key to soothe things down, perhaps. Wish me luck! And wish you guys a happy new year! :)

Christmas

I found out that everyone posted how they celebrate Christmas on their blog post. Just then I realized that I seldom celebrate any festival. Due to the non-religious belief in my family, we seldom celebrate any festival, seriously. So...do you think it's weird if we don't celebrate Christmas?

Still Paramore?

First of all, I am not a big fans of Paramore. But I was really shocked and saddened by the news that the Farro brothers have left the band. I don't know if Paramore is still the Paramore without the Farro brothers. Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor released a message on Paramore.net stating the Farro brothers' exit. But then, the Farro brothers revealed the "truth" of their departure on their blog. Anyhow, wish them all the best.

I Missed Kota Kinabalu

Okay, so I am now sitting in the hotel room at Sandakan blogging. To be honest, I hate road trip very much especially you have to sit in the car for 5 hours or maybe more than that. That's so sick! I think that's what we call as motion sickness.

This is a 5 days trip, so...yup, I won't be at K.K. for these few days. Today is just the first day at here but I already missed K.K. badly!!!

I am so lazy now, so adios mis amigos!

Yesterday

Yesterday I went on shopping spree with my family. I was standing there in front of a tattoo billboard with my mom while waiting for my father and brother. At that moment, I did thought a lot and discovered that it was really hard for me to tell my mom that I really like tattoo and want to be a tattoo artist. My mom is not another woman. She is a typical woman just like any one's mom. A woman who loves her kid and wanted to protect them until they are all grown up.

I had been thinking of get inked on a private part so that my parents wouldn't know about it. Getting a tattoo means that the ink has to be with you for the whole life (unless you get a tattoo removal). Moreover, I have to keep this as a secret away from my family. Carry a secret which can't be share with your family plus you always have to be careful about it. Who wants live like that shit?

Hmm...maybe I should convince my parents.

Tattoo

This afternoon, I read a press which included an interview with a local tattoo artist. He is Pip Lubasi and owned a tattoo shop at Jesselton Point. While reading his interview, I was so shocked that his story was somewhat same as mine. While he was studying for his Diploma in Culinary Arts, he became an apprentice at a place called Taboo Tattoo Studio. After that, he never became a chef but a tattoo artist since his interest in the art of tattoo was too strong. After reading his interview, my determination to become a tattoo artist grows up to 65%.
Tattoo is actually not a bad thing. Tattoo is something that can shows your personality. Even my dad also had one on his arm and one on his forearm. My dad said that he wanted to get some ink on his another arm someday! Not sure if that was true. For me tattoo is like ink piercing into your skin. Tattoo is art; art is tattoo. The only difference in these were our body replaced canvas and tattoo machine replaced the brush.

Dad claims that it was a mermaid, and I was like...Hi "little mermaid"!

My dad told me this was something like the paddle wheels of a boat. I personally think that was more like a ribbon instead.

(p.s. My dad received his tattoos at a very young age so it might be different from the other tattoos you've seen.)

Pretty Good Day

Woke up early in the morning, and did my daily routine. After that I had my breakfast with my mommy outside. After we had finished and paid for our breakfast, we got into the car and went to a transport company. After that, yes I still have many after that. So, after that we went to my school to buy some second hand books for next year's courses. I was really lucky enough to bought all of them with half-price, maybe not. And the best thing was I didn't queue up so long to buy them!

I bathed myself again after I reached home as I was sweating the all day long and it stinks. So this afternoon I did some really cool stuff and I am going to show you now! The first thing I did was a ummm...let's see.

(Clockwise from top left.) First you have to boil some water. While waiting the water boiled, crack an egg into a small bowl, only egg white! The next thing you are going to do is take a teaspoon of honey, any kind of honey. As you see, my honey was like...a little frozen :/ Okay, next, mix the honey and egg white together, stir well and it will come out something like orange-ish. After that, pour some hot water in a face towel and apply it to your face which have blackheads, apparently not with that temperature, you have to leave it and wait it to become a little cooler first. The purpose of the hot towel is to open your pores. Next, apply the mixture that you've made just now to your face which have blackheads. Wait for 10 minutes, tick-tock-tick-tock. Rinse it off with warm water. It's actually a remedy to get rid of blackheads. I am not sure if this will works on you. If you have a sensitive skin, don't use this. Try it at home, it's really simple and fun! Credits to All Natural 28

After the blackheads thingy, I tidied my working desk, which was really really messy as if there was a war on my desk. At first, it came up with a small problem. I've got no extra book display stands or something like that. I didn't found any video which was related how to make a book stand so I DIY one for myself. I made it with a hanger and some unused pants to wrap over it. It was a swan inspired book stand and I named it Bella, I have no idea why I named it Bella. Oh...And I found out that toothbrush is a really helpful little kit when you wanted to wash something but you couldn't reach for the small cracks.

(Clockwise from top left.) Bella. Bella and my Senior 3 textbooks. War. After the damn war and more spaces to work!!!!

Last, I wanted to tell you guys that from today onwards all of my art piece will be signed with my watermark like the photo shown below. Well, they're not some classy art work but I just hoped that you guys respect to my own rights to protect my art work.
